An innovative idea to provide free hot, healthy, and hygienic meals to people in the slums of Kolkata through a mobile vehicle equipped with an automatic roti making machine making approximately 800 rotis per hour.
ROTI ON WHEELS
SLJF started its first ‘Roti on Wheels’ van in August 2019 and now aims to extend this initiative to other cities throughout the country. The initiative has been recognized by the prestigious ‘Bharat Nirman Award’ for its noble work impacting thousands of people on an everyday basis.

Our mission is to spread happiness by ending hunger. We aim is to empower people by providing access to quality food and also ensure that no one should go to sleep hungry.
